Our software, your data
Tailwindapp.eu includes different bits of software that make it possible to calculate a cash flow forecast based on the data you (user of tailwindapp.eu) enter or import from the bank account of your company.
Only you have the control over what data you enter, how do you modify your data and which bank accounts do you synchronize your tailwindapp.eu account with. So we (Tailwind Technologies SIA, company that has developed and owns tailwindapp.eu, registered in Latvia, registration number 402033371091) cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of your forecasts.
Synchronization with your bank is one way only
You can set up synchronization with the bank account of your company if you have empowerment to access it or perform transactions.
We use the services of our partner GoCardless to enable you to access information from the bank account of your company in accordance with the PSD2 regulation of the European Union.
You will be required to consent to data synchronization using the authentication credentials your bank has issued to you. Your consent will be valid for 90 days and will need to be renewed after that.
When you have enabled synchronization between tailwindapp.eu account and bank account of your company, you will receive data on current balance and recent transactions in the tailwindapp.eu account of your company. Tailwindapp.eu does not send any data back to your bank and does not attempt to initiate transactions from the bank account of your company.
We use services of reputable partners to protect your data
We don’t try to do everything ourselves and are relying on several reputable partners to ensure your data is safe.
We offer two alternative options for user authentication in tailwindapp.eu:
- Smart-ID app, built and maintained by SK ID Solutions AS.
- Google authentication: same that you use to access services of Google.
Safe and automated data import from your bank is ensured by GoCardless, a licenced Account Information Services Provider that operates in strict compliance with the rules set out by the European Commision.
For payment collection we use services of Stripe. Tailwindapp.eu does not store your card information – Stripe does. They are trusted by millions of other clients and take protecting your data very seriously.
We host tailwindapp.eu in the data centre of cloud services provider Digital Ocean in Frankfurt, Germany.
At the same time, this means we cannot guarantee tailwindapp.eu will be available 100% of the time as we depend on availability of services of our partners as well as banks that your company may have accounts with.
Should banks send incomplete transaction data, we may use third party artificial intelligence (AI) tools to extract counterparty names from unstructured transaction data. When doing so, we will always make sure that only data that identifies the counterparty (merchant name, transaction ID, merchant code etc.) is used for processing with the AI tools.
We will not share any of the data that allows to identify you or your transaction patterns with third parties without your explicit approval.
Moreover, we only have access to the data necessary to support your subscription, such as your company name, registration and/or VAT number, e-mail address and status of your subscription.
We do not have access to your transaction data, be it data on past transactions that you have imported from your bank or your planned transactions.
Should you delete your Tailwind account, all data linked to it will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
30 days free and you are in control
You are welcome to try tailwindapp.eu free of charge for the first 30 days. We believe you will find it useful and wish to continue using it. A few days before your free trial expires we will notify you and ask to activate a subscription.
We will charge you a monthly subscription fee upon expiration of the free trial period and on the same date in each of the subsequent months for as long as you continue using tailwindapp.eu
Should you decide you no longer wish to use tailwindapp.eu, you can terminate your subscription at any time. Your tailwindapp.eu account will remain available to you until the date the next payment would have been due. We will not refund your last payment irrespective of how many days ago it was made.
Should your subscription expire or you choose not to activate it after the free trial, your tailwindapp.eu account will remain available to you in read-only mode until you either re-activate your subscription or delete your account.
We may decide to introduce additional subscription plans or change our pricing at any time and will inform you via tailwindapp.eu or e-mail as soon as we do so. Should we change the pricing for your current subscription, we will inform you at least 30 days in advance.
We use cookies and may contact you via email
We use cookies when you visit and use tailwindapp.eu. A “cookie” is a small data file, often containing a string of information that is stored on the browser of your web-enabled device. Cookies do not cause any harm to your device and do not contain viruses.
We may use either cookies that are required for tailwindapp.eu to function correctly and safely (for example, to keep you logged in) or cookies that inform us of how visitors navigate and interact with tailwindapp.eu so that we can identify any issues or features that may need improvement.
We require your email address so that we can notify you about service availability interruptions, changes in pricing, additional features or similar information. We may also occasionally seek your feedback on the experience of using tailwindapp.eu.
